Why won't my old account work?

To sign into My.Netscape, you need a Netscape.com account. (Previously, you would have signed in with your AOL screenname.) You can sign up for a Netscape.com account at http://www.netscape.com/signup/ It’s free to sign up, and only takes a few minutes. If you were not able to signin to My.Netscape with a Netscape.com account, please try again; we’ve fixed an issue that was causing signin problems for some Netscape.com members.

How can I view my old portfolio?

Your personalized data from your old My.Netscape account can be imported into your new My.Netscape account. Simply sign in with your AOL screen name and then go to the Portfolio Manager. You may also view your old portfolio from the old system at http://channels.netscape.com/pf/performance_summary.jsp.

Where did my old favorites/bookmarks go?

Your personalized data from your old My.Netscape account can be imported into your new My.Netscape account. Simply sign in with you AOL screen name and then go to the Bookmark Manager.

Can I use the weather module for international locations?

Currently the weather module can only display information for U.S. zip codes. We are working on improvements to the module which will allow international zip codes as well.

Why does the weather module show a different city than my zipcode?

Our weather service pulls thousands of sources. The one that is chosen is most reliable and up to date weather data that the service has available.

Why can’t I have multiple weather modules?

Actually you can! Click the “Add Content” link on the home page and add another weather module. Then configure it using a different Zip code.

Can I develop my own modules?

Not yet, but soon. We are planning a release of a development kit that will allow you to construct your own modules and add them to our repository.

How do I use the new portfolio?

Add the “My Portfolios” module which can be found in the Money category. The module has a link to Manage my stocks which will allow you to configure the module.

My settings are not being saved. How are my settings saved?

You can use My.Netscape.com without an account but your settings can only be saved if you have an account and are logged in. If you make changes and then log in, you will have the chance to save any changes you’ve made.

I don’t know how to use the RSS Feed module.

Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed. The RSS module allows you to enter the URL/Address of an RSS feed. It will display the items from the feed. Click "edit" on the module or configure it in the customize area and enter the url.

Why can’t I change my page background or color?

We are considering this request carefully. Currently you can only change the color of the modules header.
